About the trek

K2 Base Camp & Gondogoro La Trek 2026

The K2 and Gondogoro La Trek combines the classic Baltoro Glacier approach with a dramatic crossing into Hushe Valley. After visiting Concordia and K2 Base Camp, the route turns toward Ali Camp for an early roped ascent of Gondogoro La.

The pass offers exceptional Karakoram views but requires stable weather, safe snow conditions and confidence on fixed ropes. The crossing is never guaranteed; the guide may return by the Baltoro route when conditions make the pass unsafe.
