About the trek
K2 Base Camp & Concordia Trek 2026
The K2 Base Camp and Concordia Trek follows the Braldu River and Baltoro Glacier into the heart of Pakistan’s central Karakoram. The trail passes Paiju, Urdukas and Goro II before reaching Concordia, an extraordinary amphitheatre surrounded by K2, Broad Peak and the Gasherbrum group.
From Concordia, trekkers continue toward Broad Peak Base Camp, the Godwin-Austen Glacier and K2 Base Camp. This is a remote camping trek rather than a technical climb, but long glacier days, rough moraine and sustained altitude demand excellent fitness and careful acclimatization.
